lyrics

Worse Days

Well I woke up fully clothed and the good Lord only knows how I got here in the first place.
With a gal I've never met or maybe just forget but hell, I've have worse days.

Well I've had worse days than this, days I wished I missed but I never done a thing I would regret.
Cos of all those broken laws and hurtin' that I've caused; most of it I mostly forget.

I looked into the mirror and it couldn't be much clearer, last night I got into a brawl.
But the only place that's hurtin' is my face. I must not have fared too well at all.

Well I've had worse days than this, days I wished I missed but I never done a thing I would regret.
Cos of all those broken laws and hurtin' that I've caused most of it I mostly forget.

I walked up to the sink, I was fixin' for a drink. Turned on the faucet and out fell a pile of soot.
I grabbed a nearby beer and I nearly burst to tears when my tongue touched that cigarette butt.

Well I've had worse days than this, days I wished I missed but I never done a thing I would regret.
Cos of all those broken laws and hurtin' that I've caused most of it I mostly forget.
Most of it I mostly, something, something. I don't remember.
