lyrics

As long as they serve beer, I'll keep drinking here. Even if the bands as band as me at guitar. This is where I cut my teeth and learned even the best get beat. I know I owe it all to this bar.

When I walk through the doors like one hundred times before they know my name and what I like to drink. The smoking crowd outside are all drunk and country fried and no one seems to care what you think.

I've seen the finest bars, fit for movie stars and I've been known to hit a barn dance when I can. But nothing can compare to that raucous atmosphere in there. This id where this boy became a man.

When I was just a young punk, penniless and half drunk they let me have my chance to shine. Now I got my two cents and I want to prevent losing that sweet home of mine.

I tip my hat, to the vat, the last rock and roll dive.
Here's to you and Terry too lets keep it alive.
They don't build em like that these days,
and if they did I'd still come to this place.
I tip my hat to the vat and good ol days.
